Insurance and Billing
We are an out-of-network dentist, so we do not have any contractual agreement with any insurance companies. We still accept most insurance, but we will charge full price to patients that the insurance doesn’t cover at time of service.
We do not accept Medicare, Medicaid, Geisinger, or State Insurance.
How Does Dental Insurance Work?
Dental insurance helps to cover the cost of dental care. There are a variety of dental insurance plans available, and each plan has its own coverage and benefits. Most plans will cover all the cost of preventive care, such as routine teeth cleanings and x-rays, while some also cover a portion of the cost of major dental work, such as fillings, crown, implants, and braces.
Many dental insurance plans have an annual deductible, the amount you will need to pay out of pocket before your insurance plan begins to pay for dental services. Once you have met your deductible, you will be responsible for paying a co-payment or co-insurance for dental services. Some dental plans also have a maximum benefit limit, the maximum amount the plan will pay for dental service in a year.
